ADIKIBA, Gbobo Boyle is a lecturer in the Depatment of Theatre Arts, University of Port Harcourt. Trained at the University of Ibadan, Boyle holds a Diploma, B.A. and Master of Arts Degrees respectively. He is a versatile artiste with credits in writing, directing, dance, acting, make-up/special effects and technical theatre. A pioneer member of the National Troupe of Nigeria, his acting credits include: Things Fall Apart and Ozidi. His design credits include: Death and the King's Horseman; Things Fall Apart; The Concubine; Day Break 2; Death and the Maiden; Last of the Red Hot Lovers; Child International etc. Some of the plays he has written are: Echoes of Sorrow, Spider and Cobweb, International Cargo and Abaji.

With over twenty years in the performing industry, Boyle was an official in the 1992 ECOWAS Summit in Abuja, worked successfully with notable persons including: Hubert Ogunde, Prof. Dapo Adelugba, Prof. Niyi Osundare, Prof. Femi Osofisan, Bayo Oguneye, Chuck Mike, Prof. Ahmed Yerima, Bassey Effiong, Jide Ogungbade, Ben Tomoloju, Sunbo Marinho, John Johnson, Biodun Abbe, etc. Boyle has also worked with some international crew including: Bruce Beresford, Herbert Pinters, Nick Law, Hank Garfield, Steve Pushkin, Pierce Brosna, and others during the production of Mister Johnson in Toro, Bauchi state of Nigeria, and Atlanta Duffy in Death and the Maiden.
